Caroline R. Hahn was born in Los Angeles, from immigrant parents. She grew up in Huntington Beach, California and attended high school in Orange County. Ms. Hahn received her undergraduate degree in History, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She received her J.D. from Chapman University School of Law. She clerked for the Honorable Robert M. Takasugi in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. As a child of immigrant parents, she wanted to help others who could not speak English. As a result, she applied for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. She served as a Deputy Public Defender in Orange County for seven years. From 2018-2020, she worked at the Federal Public Defender’s Office. She has tried in excess of 25 cases to verdict. She enjoyed helping her clients, many of whom were indigent, struggling with mental illness and drug addiction, and suffering from the effects of poverty.
Ms. Hahn continues to have a passion for protecting the rights of the accused. She represents individuals in all types of criminal defense and personal injury matters. Ms. Hahn serves as a board member for the Child Guidance Center, a non-profit organization specializing in assisting children, families, and veterans with mental health in Orange County. When Ms. Hahn is not fighting for her clients, she is enjoying time with her husband and three children, cheering them on in their respective sports games.
